Following the footsteps of her pioneering ancestors who helped settle New Harmony, Washington, and St. George cities, Wendi Bulkley is ready to lead. Wendi brings more than 20+ years' experience in public administration, tourism, leisure services, management, marketing, events, and fundraising within Washington County that will offer a unique and authentic lens and invaluable experience to our city council.

Wendi pledges to be a strong advocate for the residents of St. George City and to help people thrive within our growing vibrant economy.

Wendi has 21 years of experience serving Washington County in public administration, tourism, management, marketing, events, fundraising, and community engagement through her work at TDS, Washington City, and Utah Tech University.

Wendi serves as the board chair of the Washington Area Chamber of Commerce, vice chair of the St. George Area Chamber of Commerce Sunshiners, and a volunteer coach with Utah Tech Athletics in addition to volunteering and/or sponsoring the Washington County Fair, Housing Action Coalition (HAC Forum & Expo Subcommittee), Family Support Center, Neighborhood Connection, PAWS, Caddy Group, Community Education Channel, Root for Kids, Switchpoint Community Resource Center, Washington City Rotary, Utah Food Bank, TEDxStGeorge, Southern Utah Assistance League, Encircle, Washington County School District, and Utah Tech University.

I just filed to run for St George City Council. It’s always been a DREAM of mine! I’ve had some distinct impressions lately that now is the time. I have a passion for giving back to our community & I love to get involved! I have my Master’s degree in Public Administration & I have worked for city government for 13 years with two different Mayors and three different City Councils.

I have been a resident of St George City for 14 years & I absolutely LOVE it! I know it takes a village to keep our community safe & shape it into a beautiful place where we all want to live & raise our families! I’m ready & willing to give it my all!
